Just an estimate. what are you guys paying or have paid for those who have done this. Also i made a thread this week about burning coolant. Its never burned blue and still has not burned any blue just a little bit of white. Not even clouds of it, just a little. Its an h22 btw. My rings should still be alright right? A new gasket should fix this problem?

 

If your car is not overheating you probably don't need a headgasket. Are you loosing lots of coolant?

White smoke could easily be fuel from your car running a bit rich.

 

its not loosing any coolant from what i can tell. i had it checked at a shop and they said it was fine. the car does not overheat at all. I can drive it hours on end and it does not get hotter. the injectors are really old, i was thinking about cleaning them and having them tested again. How could i fix the car from running so rich

 

Yeah, good idea on the injectors. Also, an 02 sensor could be bad...and an adjustable FPR and a gauge would help, but it's not needed.

well i have new headers so i am getting a new o2 sensor anyway. injectors i will clean. Also i forgot to mention the car has been withouta battery for a year so i assume the ecu reset itself, correct? if so doesnt the ecu run a little rich for the first little while after its been reset? i think i heard that somewhere but not sure if its true.
