My left is cramping
Been riding for close to a year now, and my left hand is starting to cramp bad these days. It hurts everytime I pull the clutch lever. Did this happen to everyone here? It was fine until now, it is making it very difficult to ride. sucks.
this can happen on the modern sport bikes... usually an adjustment can help. Have someone take a picture of you on your bike in the riding position and lets take a look...
i do not understand why it is happening now though, like after almost a year. I actually went to the dealer today to check the tension on my chain, and they said nothing is wrong with the handle bar and level.
Do you use a computer at work/school? If it's not clutch position then there's a good chance the action of grabbing the clutch is aggrevating what may be the onset of carpal tunnel syndrome. If I get stuck in traffic I usually end up with shooting pains up the back of my hand every time I grab the clutch.

lift some weights:
wrist curls palms up, then with palms down

homemade DIY: a tube with a thin rope with weight on the end. Roll upwards and downwards, and in reverse.

do some hand squeeze exercises. Can't find a picture of the contraption, but it's a simple thing, with two bars at somewhat of an angle, with a spring hinge in the middle
\o/
Your clutch probably should be adjusted downward a little bit, along with your brake too.

I just cup my hand and basically pull my whole arm back from the elbow. The pain comes from nerve damage in the wrist but the pain radiates up through the hand most times.

ive been having a problem with my thumbs hurting. its because my bar on my 919 isnt curved enough. i think its a renthal but yeah i think im gonna be looking for a more curved bar pretty soon cuz long rides suck. i end up putting my thumbs on top of the bar to stop the pain. i know its not save but its only when im not turning or anything like that.

Post 'em anyways.
Your fore-arm is supposed to be in a straight line, parallel to the ground. This keeps your wrists in a natural, unflexed position. Adjust the levers as needed to maintain that position, so you don't need to stretch unnecessarily to reach them.
It helps to bend over more (YA BABY YA!) and flex your ab muscles (to help keep you up) to alleviate pressure on the wrists.

do clutchless upshifts
How many miles on your bike? Have you replaced the clutch cable lately?
I know on my bike my cable gradually got looser and as a result i tighttened the adjuster...resulting in the lever being really really hard to pull..
