Hello Everyone, I'm thinking about getting back into a EK hatchback (will be a DAILY DRIVER) and i'm unsure If I can find one with the options I want.. I don't want to be searching for something that doesn't exist..

I'm looking to get a White 1999 or 2000 Civic Hatchback..

Questions?

1:Were they offered with black interiors or only light gray?

2:Were they offered with power windows and power locks? If so which model?

3:Do they offer color matched trim and mirrors?

4:Were they ever offered with sunroofs? I've never seen one..

Are you sure they don't come in white? Ok, so all the black interiors i've seen are swapped (DAMN)..

Yes there were white hatches. In 2000 they had Taffeta White CX's and DX's.

And no, no USDM hatches came with black interior. Most hatches actually have a DARK gray interior, not light gray.

The only hatches with black interior are the Civic Type R, European VTi hatches, and Jordan VTi hatches.

So much misinformation around here

If you want all that, you need a 1999-2000 Civic 1.6 VTi hatchback in Taffeta white from Europe.

 

And the 2000 hatches only came with dark gray (K) interiors. The light gray (F) interiors were only offered in hatches in 1996 and 1997. The dark dray interiors came in all 6th gen hatches though.

Damn I guess i'm gonna have to settle also .. Ok so 1999s and 2000s come with a darker interior then 96-98s? I just care about the dash and panels, I hate the light gray dash and panels in my old 97..

You misunderstand:

96-97: Came with Dark Grey (K) or Light Grey (F)
98-00: Came with Dark Grey (K) only

You say you have an OEM BLACK dash in a USDM '96-'00 Civic?

Post pics because Honda says they didn't make one.

We're not talking about the black guage bezel and the blak radio.

The interiors for USDM 6th gens again. This chart shows what trims came with what too.

 

ima look for my camera when i get back from pick'n up a BMC... i find it odd also but yea.. i'll post

What does it say on the door jamb? Take a photo if you can.

 

Maybe it was swaped out of an Si or EX. I've seen the DARK almost black one in the EX before.

EX's and Si's have K-code (dark gray), which is NOT black.

 

there is a another thread just about black interior, and they confirmed that the dash never was usdm black

Yes.

Like I said, black dashes only comes in VTi's, SiR's (NOT THE CANADIAN EM1), and Type R's.

Also note that we have the European catalog with that same image in it.
