And waste more money when he want's to swap it anyway?
If you'll have the money, get the c1.

Thats wat I was thinking also...I dont want to jus keep up will mainstream races...i wanna b some wat domient or capable of being so....All Motor
If you really want to go all motor I suggest doing an h2b.
It can Be done for the same price as a gsr.

You could always put together a poor man's type R...would be much cheaper than a c5...or just go with the gsr (I wish I had one).
Can't complain with my ls/gsr tranny swap though, still costs less than a gsr swap

Or you can just pick up a D16z6 for cheap and boost it for less than the GSR, but if you have the money and really want to toss 3k+ at your car, go for the GSR.

Don't waste money on the GSR or ITR.
Get an LS, they're cheap as ****.
Pair it with a B16 or ITR transmission*, and it'll be quick as hell, cheap, too. The LS drops almost as much torque as the GSR, only difference is how it gets to the wheels.
* For those who are about to inform me that an ITR and B16 trans are the same, the final drive is different

I was always curious about matting a LS swap with a B16/R/GSR tranny. Do you know what kind of 1/4 times you would get with a bolt on LS with B16 in say a hatch?

Nope. USDM ITR and B16 trannies are the same. Right down to the final drive(4.4). The difference is the JDM ITR. It has a 4.785 FD, along with different gearing(slightly).

I hate these threads... it's just a bunch of different opinions that doesn't get the op any further along in his/her decision.
