some updated shop pics and some industrial projects
Nice work!
I know how you feel. I work 14-16hr days 6 days a week. I spend a good 8 hours everyday running the place, managing the staff, talking on the phone, ordering supplies, paying bills. I wish I could just work!

That is a huge slab of granite. That must weigh like 250lbs or so. Why so thick though. Isn't that just used as a very flat surface? Shop looks nice and organized. And your work looks great.

Yep...that's what it's for mane
Flat and true to take height measurements off of and what not. If you have the right instruments the surface is so flat that you have to slide them off the sides. Lifting them directly off feels like there is a slight suction...plus air effects the measurement.
O.P....that's a nice shop you've got going. I remember your thread when you first started. I must say that anyone that gets going and stays going gets a
from me. I stayed self employed for several years, but just couldn't get out of my home garage. I never felt like I generated enough cushion to go to a commercial property. I reinvested everything into tools, but I just couldn't break out. I've got alot of skills, engine building, blueprinting, fab, custom wiring, done alot of custom composite stuff and I have dick to show for it at this point besides a home garage stuffed with tools and equipment.
Taking my failure *** back to school in the fall to finish my M.E. degree...too many years down the ******* already

I could see how desk crap could slow things down and not be as fun.
Keep up the good work and business flowing.
