Default Need help identify what I have. 97 Civic, p72 ecu, B18B1 engine

I have a car that has a lot of mixed parts in it. I need some help identifing them so I can get it working.

The car did have a B18C from hmotors. It came with a P72 ecu.
1) How can i find out which obd/year that ecu is.

The B18C blew, now it has a 1998 B18B1 in it. It came with a distributor for the same year.
2) What harness or modifcations do i need to use to get the LS distributor to work.

I have no idea what harness is currently in the car. I guess I will know that once I know what year the ecu is, right?

Thanks, let me know if there is anything else I will need to know.

I read somewhere that I may be able to use the GSR distributor. Can someone verify this info.

Thanks

On the side of the ecu, there should be something that says

"P72-XXX-XXXX"

Plug that number into google, and something should come up, either on eBay or on a message board.

look at how many plugs your ECU has. 3 plugs is OBD1, 4 plugs is OBD2.
