Mine did the same thing with the ticking, if you hit the gas pedal it does it more. I took it to the Acura dealership here in town. They did a valve adjustment ($250 later) I was told that it will always tick since the valve train does not have hydraulic lifters so you will hear it. Mine still ticks, just not as bad as before.
Make sure your oil is always at level, I notice it's not as bad with full oil in the motor. Especially when it's new oil.

Possible answers:
Valve adjustment
Worn/Bad LMA
Bad rod bearing
Bad distributor bearing
Sticking injector
Loose bolt
Some other loose metal object
There are a couple bolts that go into the bottom of the intake manifold that might be loose, so get under the car and take a look way up in there. Stick your hand in there, wiggle **** around, etc. Make sure all your brackets are tight. Other then that, nobody here can help. I mean.....people name things and you dont even try them before asking for more help. How many people have said valvetrain/valve adjustment and you just go right on over and post asking for help again. This time, don't post again until you have checked everything on the list above....because chances are pretty good that its something on there.
