Default New Hatch owner

Well I've been in the honda game for a few years with an Accord, Civic's and I have a 97 Integra Gs, Well A few days ago i came across a 91 Hatch with 268,XXX miles . He said he wanted 250 bucks for it and i talked him down to $200 . It runs smokes in High RPMS I plan on dropping a LS into . Now is there anything i should look for or anything certain things on the EF hatchs that go bad or that might be fixed ?

xeleventybillion in the rear 1/4 panels and wheel wells

Check out all the other stuff you would on an old car: bushings, suspension, vaccuum and coolant lines, etc. Or just replace this stuff when you do a swap.

$200 for anything without rust is a good deal. Especially since it runs.

Imo i say go ls.. It wouldn't be to difficult and a motor swap is a great way of "getting to know" your new car.
