ummm sure... but why do you ask? Race car in mind? Not sure why you would spend $17k+ (don't really know how much lx's go for) on an econo car just to do a swap unless its gonna be a track *****

just my $.02

Why wouldn't you just buy a civic si, it is more or less the same engine as a rsx.

Take the money you're planning to spend on a motor and use it as a down payment on an Si. Trade in the LX!!!

Motors vary in price... it doesnt depend on mileage so much but

1. from the source your obtaining it from i.e. Personal, company, junkyard.
2. your area... some areas like cali are higher demand then say... bumblefock iowa
3. How desperate they are to sell, some companies stock 50..others 2or3.. the companies with 50 will make MINIMAL profit x 50 vs the guy with 2 or 3 that is trying to maximize the return.

but... with that being said.. usually the ebay people have the si motor for about 4500 lol

I think what Mike is saying is that if you wanted a K20, should have bought an SI

it's cheaper (and smarter)

A rsx jdm engine will just about 6k with shipping give or take where you get it from and that is the "type s" with 6 speed. You would also have to look at the wireing harness im not sure if they are the same on the lx to the rsx to the Si. And again you going back to the fact that it would be alot easyer to just buy a si and cheaper. If you have ever done a engine swap you would know this. You almost always run in to some type of problem, even on a run of the mill b16 swap in a civic which have been done millions of times and have every after market part to do it. A 06 lx to k20 hasnt been done much if at all. So you see the point is just dont waste time and money. But if you do go through with the swap please document it so we can all know what it takes.
