Pls HELP...problems with my car!
I posted earlier about my engine vibrates like crazy after a hard downshift from 3rd to 2nd. My mechanic check all the engine mount, they are all good, everything else, is still good, they cannot find the problem. They said it might be the LSD or problem in the tranny.. now do you guys think that is a possibilites???
because it costs alot of $$ to open up the tranny.....I will try to get Acura to check out my problem.....anyone know what type of problem it could be???????

How did you check them?
I am almost sure it is the axles CV joints.
But have you and your mechanic jacked up the car on jackstands and drive it looking for the source of the vibration?

ok i will do that~ so if the axle/cv joint break??is it easy to tell??? I am sorry but I don't know that much in depth about the mechanical part....
Usually the rollers get popped out of the socket and freezes up. Problem many drag racers have besides snapping the whole axle.
Tell your mechanic to take a look at it if your not sure, cause sometimes it will look fine
Best way to check for which side if not both is to put the car on jack stands and drive it with someone listening to the axles.
