I have a '92 lude with a jdm H22a swap. I was wondering what header I should get. Should I get a 92-96 or a 97-01 header?

 

92-96 makes the most sense.....

Get the 92-96 header.

97-01 headers have shorter downpipes.....even the Type SH.

Well, didn't know if there was a difference in the headers for the h22 and h23.

 

o hell yes theres a difference...you asked about a 4th gen and 5th gen header. the h22 and h23 header are different. you need to get the one made for your engine which is the h22 header.

 

I knew that, but i wasnt 100% sure. Why the heck did you say get a 92-96 then?

read what you said...you asked what year should you get...you have a 92 lude so why the hell would you get a 97-01 header.

 

well, i was wondering if i should get the header the year of the car was made in, or the header for the type of engine.

vtec in usa started in 93 for preludes, but alot of companies still advertise it as 92-96.
