Ac lgihts on dash panel are out----96 Accord LX---Help PLZ!
The lights that are supposed to light up the A/C buttons that show the direction of airflow are not working. This seems to be the only electrical problem with the car, so i'm thinking it's not a fuse, which usually affects a few things. Could it just be a bulb, if so how would i go about replacing it?
Probably the bulb, it's a bitch to replace
1) Take out the armest part ( 2 screws inside armrest, one underneath cupholders)
2) Take out glove box
3) Pull off steering column cover thing
4) remove radio area
5) pop out cruise/sunroof controls , undo screw there
pop out the switch on the other side of the steering wheel (defrost i think) undo the screw in there
unscrew the two at the top of the cluster area
once everything is out there's two more screws underneath the AC/Heat area , unscrew those and the entire black piece should pull right out (lol)
i just did it yesterday, it sucks if any of your cluster's lights are out i'd replace those too - I have no idea what bulbs they use
