Default Header and intake manifold test!!

here we go people...

Alchemist is sending me his skunk2 im to test against my euro r manifold as well as a stock and modified stock IM. at the same time i would like to test a few headers if possible. I will be donating at least an entire day of dyno time to do this test, everything will be fully tuned etc. soooo if you are building something and have a header or some other IM just sitting there donate it for a couple weeks for me to test. I'll have everything back by the end of the 3rd week in may.. i'll even pay for return shipping.

the tests will be done on my h2b em1, stock 98usdm long block with an ITR tranny tuned by me VIA aem ems

shitttt

I'm going to be in wilmington that day....I'm gonna see if I can get another ride down there and leave you my header

If we can convince john to let you, his header is still sitting in his garage.

Oh and I asked him, if you buy him another IM gasket, he said he would let you test it lol on a "don't expletive it up" contingency

Isn't testing the headers going to be hard due to the angle the H2B kit places the engine at?

Props on doing the manifold test! This will be a great comparison to the one I did a couple of years ago.

the headers should still fit w/o hitting anything... i wont be using an exhaust if i do the header test... thats way too much fn work

but yeah, tell john he has a deal

There is a guy in town that has an ESP header and his car is off the road right now I believe...

PreludeH22Vtec is his name on here....I'll try sending him a pm about it.

Im not really sure on this one. The box that it came in says "Pro Series" and has the Model # which matches the Pro Series manifold, but the manifold itself does not have the Pro Series badge on the top. It just says Skunk2 Intake Manifold. Does anyone know how tell the difference or if there is even any difference?

i dont think there is any differences beside the way they are marketed.. i believe the proseries might have a smoother finish due to the casting process, other than that.. i think they are both the same

I did it too, but I don't think there is is a difference between the "pro" and the old manifold.

the pro series is definately labelled as pro series.

Is the comparison going to include each combination properly tuned to make max power. Otherwise is becomes a dyno readout which still no-one can draw conclusions from.

Not that it matters for me, as i have made my header / IM decision.

Manifold shipped out to Jdogg today, so he should have it in a few days. This should be interesting.
