Default B series Vs K series

Ok well im not very Knoweledgable on this motor subject but i will appreciate the help. Question is about how much HP or WHP will a b series type R motor give on a EF9 Vs puttin a K series type S motor on the EF9? Another question about how much will each cost and im talking about just a running motor.

Not all engines are the same. Stock for stock, average estimates...

B18C5 - 165-175 whp
K20A2 - 175-180 whp

The K20 will have more torque and feel faster.

How much horsepower will a "B-series Type R motor" (this can be two differnet motors btw) give on an EF9?

The same amount of horsepower it has in the Type R.

How much horsepower will an RSX Type-S motor give in an EF9?

The same as it does in the RSX Type-S.

Btw, you don't drive an EF9 if you have a USDM car.

unless its a stolen kswap it will cost 5x what you paid for the car to get it installed in the car. waste of money. but a b16 in it and call it a day.

umm read the sticky's at the top of the forums. ALL the PROS and CONS are listed. i would go for a b18c5 if u have the money. but if your lookin for something better but dont want it to be SUPER expensive. go b16.

talking about wasting money i would not bother with a b16 if i had to go with a DOHC for the money i would have to go either b18c1 or the B20 route! both of which are cheaper then the k20!

h22 > k20 as far as bang for buck to get good torque and good displacement.

h2b can be done for the price of a b18c1 if you bought it at hmotors and did the work yourself.
