Default pillow mounts?

so i want the racing specs and they have option pillow mounts. can some one help me out and explain what they are for? i think ive read that they just help to quiet the car and helps with squeaking. but in the pictures the suspension looks like it has camber plates on them? can some one help me in the confusion.

Default

in the box it says

Application of the upper pillow upper mount allows you to have greater handling response, by minimizing upper chasis movement. Caster adjusment allows the correction of camber for further tuning ability. Caster adjustment plates are not included on all applications.

so is this just a type of bushing?
