well i was driving..hit the breaks....and the pedal went to the floor. So im guessing its the master cylinder. I am doing a rear disc break conversion this weekend and i guess it was kinda convient that it did this now so i was wonderin what the best fix. I guess i should upgrade to a better master cylinder. And can i get the proportional valve off any del sol for the rear disc.
Someone said that a 1991 Civic sedan ex master cylinder would be a good choice but i dont know why since its an old part. well thanks for the help

1991 Civic EX MC is 15/16ths or 1" in diameter and, thus, allows you to have more pedal feel. Get a new one from Autozone or something. Use any proportioning valve from a Honda/Acura with rear discs and you should be fine. I suggest looking over all your brake lines very carefully as your MC might not be the part that **** the bed.
