Is it possible to mate the end of an ED6 axle to a b-series axle so that I don't have to either install integra knuckles or purchase swap axles? I have a hydraulic press to take apart the two axles.
I am going to either swap in my B16a with an S1 tranny, or I might swap in my B18a with an LS tranny. I just haven't quite made the final decision yet. However, I still would like to know if anyone has made a hybrid axle like this. I have had to take apart axles before and put them back together, but I just don't want to go taking stuff apart without knowing if it will work or not.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

do you have a std or hf ? if not then the integra axles work fine in your hubs. you dont need integra hubs. the stock civic / crx dx / si hubs work fine with the dust ring removed

I have the std model
I was wondering if I could unite the shaft of a b-series axle to the stubby end of a civic STD axle, so that I an axle that one end will fit into the b-series tranny and the other will fit into the STD hub?

I want to get started on my swap. Will a hybrid axle be possible or not?

i dont know if that will work...
part of the reason is because the diameter of the shaft going into the hubs are small and weak...
i have si knuckles if your interested

If I installed different knuckles, whether they be from a 90-91 integra or from a 88-91 Civic Si, will the axle length requirements be jeopardized?
From what I am told, I will need 90-91 integra axles, but is this only true if I use the 90-91 integra knuckles? Will the length be correct?
Similarly, if I were to use the 88-91 Civic Si axles, will I need the 88-91 Civic Si knuckles? Will the length be correct?
See what i'm getting at. I want to know if the Si or Integra knuckles are offset differently than my current STD knuckles.
I'm just trying to get myself completely prepared for the swap. I'm sure it's alot easier than I am making it seem. LOL
