Default Sportline Springs... "extreme lowering"???

i have eibach sportline springs on kyb agx struts... im happy with my ride... i was riding on 13 inch steelies and now i have 15 inch si wheels.. now the car is way higher and my tires are not even that big... i just need to go about half an inch lower and i dont want to change springs.... what should I do is there anyway to safely go lower without changing that setup? oh and by the way the suspension forum is dead

You will definitely be riding higher, however the gap between the wheel and fender should be smaller.

There isnt any other way to get your car 'lower' sort to speak, without getting adjustable coilovers, or a different spring.

IMO, I wouldnt sacrifice your tire profile.

I would just maybe look into another suspension. That is pretty weird that the height is THAT big of a difference...that sucks.

Ahh...dont even bother if they are Skunk2 Coilovers. Im not a fan of Coilovers period, especially not Skunk2...at least on a Civic.

I prefer Springs, with a good quality shock such as Koni or Tokico Illuminas.

See..in my area, I cant get away w/ low-profile tires, too many shitty roads.

I wouldnt really want to anyway, because it does take away from your handling/cornering ability.

That looks the same as mine but I got the Tein springs. Eibach springs usually lowers it like an 1" from factory so that is all that you will get out of them.

There is no alternative if you want it lower except to change springs.

if you want to go the ghetto route then you can clamp the springs, but that is strictly an "IF" and you don't look like the ghetto type.

never go ghetto on your ride -

ghetto = rice

my opinion your ride looks good where it's at - you may want to consider H&R or Neuspeed spring - they give your car a more nose-dived look

anyway the lower your car the worse the ride

nice car - i used to have the same one.

I have skunk2 adjustable coilovers and they work great.. Nice ride, not bumpy at all. And I'm rocking stock shocks temporarily..

Has anyone tried these, worth getting them shipped to Oz, still be heaps cheaper than anything I could buy here.

I think it looks good the way it is. At least you are lower than me with my H&R OE Sports. I have GS-R meshes with 195/55 too.

oh yeah, a lip really helps. Mine looks way better since I added the lip. The front just looked to high with out it. I got a Mugen style CF Lip on mine.

Ummm. 1) they r $20, How do you think they will perform 2) My dumb *** friend attempt to dump his car using that setup, and it was a mistake. Sure it dumped it, but would you rather have a smooth ride or a bumpy unpleasant ride. Because if you buy those, thats what you will get.
Sorry if I sounded like a dick, but id hate for you to waste your money on that.
