whered i hook up to pull motor!!!!!!!
i have a sohc and i have a 2 ton lift ive searched and i cant find where hook up and what to use o hook up. Can someone tell me or give me a link with pics...
there is a metal hook looking thing on the tranny and a spot on the right side of the motor to put a bolt into...if you need any help let me know..i'm in the eugene area
I take a nut off the engine mount and the tranny mount and stick a link of chain in there and tighten the nut back down.... you need a deep well 17. and the option above it good too. good luck

Not directly under it, but right up aginst the head, it holds well. Keep in mind im talking about Single Cam swaps, their light.

use lift to lift the car, not the engine and drop the engine out the bottom onto a pallet of wood, skateboard, blanket, I've used all three before.....
factory hooks to the upper right back of the head normally there is a bronze braket there, but I did not have one and used a bolt partially threadded into the hole, and bronze bracket on tranny.
