Buying first civic!2!!!
Ok, how about this one. Its stock, has all options except for my adored fog-lights, it even has the arm rest which I keep seeing on eBay for some reason.
Well here she is, its a dealer which I could prolly talk down a bit, well hack away. I got to thinking about the stock thing and all of you guys are right. If I had a fixed up one I would basically be taking someones problems into my own hands and most of those are hidden.
The price on this one is $4950 it has 118kmi. Like last time any suggestions on what to look for in a Honda and or what could be the best to get, all opinions are welcome. Thanks again!

What year is it? Unless you really like the 92-95 body style, you could probably get an Ek with that mileage for that price or less. Looks clean, but i probably wouldnt pay almost 5k for a car that is at least 12 years old.

way too pricey..you can get a good used hatch or coupe for 1500-2500. i am on my 5th 92-95(eh) hatchback and have never paid more than 1300 for any. some needing more work than others. the more you pay should be the less work needed. adam should know what a good deal is. he also should know what to look for
Bit pricey, thats cause dealers tend to do that to you. Your much better off finding one thats for sale by the owner. This one in particular has over 100k on it too, so closde to 5k for price is a bit high.
That's VERY pricey...maybe $3,500 at most.
I paid $3,300 (with all the extra crap) for my '94 DX hatchback with 85K
I'd either try to talk them down (KBB.com it and see what they say) or keep looking.

kbb the car - he's probably asking retail for the thing...
a bit pricey but it all about what floats your boat.
if your after this body style car, color, year and you want it bone stock then go for it.
it's about what you want - not what's best...... if what's best is the case then yes - you can find other cars for cheaper - but if it's not what you want then what's the point.
ask him if the major services have been done - timing belt, water pump, tune up, brakes, etc.... either way i say low ball the guy.
offer him at most $4000

^^ good find, but we don't Have time or the authority to do a swap.
G-ma is paying for it, so she wants him to get one with a clean body and low miles. Not a project.

Seriously too much. Dont buy from a used car salesman, they have no soul, and they want yours in exchange for a car.
Lol, but seriously, I payed how much you're talking about like 4 YEARS AGO for my 95 hatch when it had 38,000 miles on it from a PRIVATE PARTY. It was bone stock too.
Go private party unless you see something you absolutely HAVE to have. A good deal will present itself if you are patient.

Really! Cause I have a 92 and my fuel filter looks exactly like that!!
Anyway, heads up to the OP. I noticed you had another post exactly the same about another car you were looking at. You should probably use one thread and post the various cars you find in it. If you keep making separate posts for every car you are looking at the mods are probably gonna start locking them and the dicks are gonna come out of the woodwork to flame you.
P.S. - Too expensive IMHO. Just because a car is more expensive does not always mean it's a better car.
