Default horn question

i have a 1991 honda civic hatchback standard. im trying to hook my horn back up but cannot figure out how to do it. the person that had the car before me cut the wires and use the steering wheel button for a purge, and now i need a horn to pass inspection. i found a white w/ green stripe wire coming out the harness going down towards the horn, and a blue w/ red stripe going towards the horn. there is two wires coming off the horns, but i dont know how to hook them up. can anyone help me with this problem?

Default Re: horn question (bertsb18hatch)

One is a lead wire and the other is ground...if you hook up one wire to the horn and the other to the button, once you press on the button it'll make contact and complete the circuit, making your horn sound.... you can try and test wires if there's continuance..test light...make sure that the horn fuse is also good.
