so far i have good success with my progress drag setup, but there are those that havent had any luck. when i do change up, it will be for a strange setup.

For the money I personally use and like the skunk2 coil over sleeves with the drag springs and KYB AGX shocks

Cheap and effective in my opinion

i run the skunk2 drags with tokico blues cutting consistant high 1.5s-1.6s, best was 1.55. my buddy runs the omni set up and he is cutting the same 60's. i like the skunk2s for the price... but the omnis are really nice also.

i know this is an old thread but i was thinking of getting the skunk2 drag lauch kit with the coil over sleeves, and kyb agx shocks. Two questions i have about these is 1. Does skunk2 kit come with all 4 or just the rear? and 2. Are these going to be the same ride height as stock or is it going to lower it because im looking for a stock height spring... TIA!

look on skunk2's site. you can buy them individually. you only need 2 for the rear. soft up front and stiff in the back.
not sure about ride hight, but it should sit higher i think.

Skunk2 2 springs. Pretty much any adg shock combo will work with them.

If I remember correctly the spring rate on the skunk2 drag launch springs are either 900 or 1000lbs.

how much stiffer are the skunk drag coilovers compared to the regular skunk coilovers? right now I'm running regulars and cutting low 1.7 60ft.s and was wondering if by getting the drag set it would help me out.

i would imagine with stiffer spring rates it'd help you cut a tenth or so off your time. especially on something as important as the first 60'. which could be the difference between dipping nines or consistent low tens.

a lot of it is also dependent on driver mod, as we all know. GL though!

The drag launch springs are a lot stiffer. I believe the regular springs are like 450lbs and the drag launch are like 900lbs. These springs almost make it to be like a solid rear end. If your cutting 1.7s already, thats pretty good. I dont think our street cars will cut much better then 1.6s

I've cut a few 1.6's but not many and they were at Norwalk in Ohio...one of the best tracks I've been to.
