Question: Why were my tires spinning when jacked up and in N?
i did my oil change today and had the front end jacked up, when i started it to check for leak i noticed both tires were spinning forward and the car was in N. lol whats the logic behind that? is it LSD related or my burnt out clutch related?
rly? im stuck thinking about my clutch its on its way out maybe it wasnt fully disengaged.

mine does the same thing, it did it before with my old motor (h22a1) and does it with the new motor/tranny (h22a) with a brand new clutch installed. So i dont think its anything abnormal ...at least i hope not!

Your clutch is engaged, though. You're not pushing down on the petal, right?
I recall it being asked before, and I think the answer was something relating to the transmission fluid transmitting very small amounts of power even though the gears arn't themselves engaged.
Push the clutch in and I bet it would stop.

Did you ignore the video? Even if you did you can see the picture of his shifter.

It happens on my car with a regular tranny too. Step on the brake and let go and it should stop spinning. Not sure what causes it to spin.

i stepped on the brake and it stopped but it started again just its kinda weird i never noticed it b4.
It has nothing to do with the lsd. It is normal. I promise you.
When you are in neutral your clutch is still enaged to the tranny and it still spins the input shaft. So there is some friction and movement in your tranny this causes your wheels to spin.
If you could push in the clutch and truly disengage the clutch/tranny (I am not sure if you can) And tap the brake the spining would stop and I don't think it would start back up. but again I am not sure you can fully disengage the clutch there might always be some slight resistance.

True, and gears are still in mesh, but freely spinning and causes the differential to spin a lil then spinning your wheels (does one spin forwards and one spin backwards? open diff.).

you kidding me.
I have never seen that before ever. I can only honestly say I can only remember having one car jacked up and on and I could swear it didnt do that. But from what I know it isnt unusual.
