Hey guys my 90 civic dx stock motor wont start for me. The other day it stalled out on me and wouldnt start back up. I checked for spark in spark plug #1 and couldnt get a spark. The motors turning but it just wont fire up. I was thinking i need to replace the distributor. What do you guys think? Thanks

 

spark, fuel, timing...check all of those first. It may be your ignitor in you distributor if you are getting no spark. I have seen a DIY on HT about replacing just the igniter ..could be many things, i searched wont start in achieved for CRX/Ef Civic forum and i got 208 results...seriously it could be a wide range of problems, ignition rotor...but if no spark it is probably a distributor problem
