Calling all weekend welders, in SE Pa, South Jersey, or Delaware
My friends and I need an aluminum frame welded for a chariot project...being students we are without the cash to get this professionally done and without the time to learn TIG ourselves...my proposition is this...we will be happy to donate a case to someone generous enough to take an afternoon to weld our contraption up...we will have all of the pieces cut and ready (we'll even prep them if neccessary)...
below is the general design with a few changes but the structure is correct...i can post more details if there is an interest...material is 1" x 1" boxed 6063 al. with 1/8" thickness iirc...

that'd be great...we are buying the wheels tomorrow and when we figure the axles we will be purchasing the metal stock on thur or friday...once we solidify it i will be in touch in the next day or two...thanks
