did you check the clearances on the crank before you changed out the rod bearings?

when your talking about the clearance of the crankshaft, are you talking about the clearance of the connecting rod bearing journals, or clearance of the free play of the snout of the crankshaft?

Im a little confused, but we didnt measure any clearances we just took out the connecting rod bearing and replaced it and torqued it down to spec.

thanks

the knocking sound, sounds like its well within the motor, its kinda like a thump, but from the sounds of it, its not a rattle of any sort on the upper end of the motor.

Help will be greatly appreciated.

if your oil light turns on while you drive it then you got a oil pressure issue...

on my f22 i spun a bearing and my **** sound like hammers were being smacked inside...

stock f22 do have a slight noise sounds like a knock not sure why but all ive heard got that noise motor fine and runs hard fora f22 just some unkown noise inside
