upgrading brakes, MC/BB question

Default upgrading brakes, MC/BB question
just bought a 92 CX hatch. It came with SI discs out back and stock front brakes. Has the stock CX master cylinder and brake booster. after driving it for awhile i noticed it has a bad master cylinder. If I upgrade to GSR master cylinder and brake booster but keep the stock CX front brakes for awhile will this cause any problems?

that mc is too large for the tiny little 9" brakes and matching calipers
a 7/8" mc/bb set is the largest you should go
