Default What do you think about this setup?

Im in the process of building up my motor, and I wanna see what you guys think(flames, recommendations, and suggestions welcome) as far as if this set up is decent or whether you would run it a little different, and how much power you would expect to get from this set up. Ive already gotten the JUN 3's, but still working on the next pieces of the puzzle and heres what Im thinking so far:

B18C5 motor with:
CTR Pistons
JUN 3's
STR Cam gears
stock head gasket
Crower springs/retainers
port and polished head
Victor X IM
BBK 70mm TB
AEM intake
Spoon 4-1
Car sound cat
stock exhaust
Hondata w/ P28 OBD1 ECU
RC Eng 440cc injectors
stock fuel pump
Vortech FPR

What do you guys think? Do you think Ill break 225whp with that setup properly tuned? My car dynoed at 178 with just the intake and USDM header, but Id like to get up around 250whp with an all motor setup. You think Ill be close? Id really like to keep the semi-quietness of the stock exhaust, but do you think Id see a big difference if I went with an aftermarket exhaust?

Why a stock headgasket? Seems like a little more compression would get you closer to 225whp.

well I planned on running the stock gasket to keep the compression around 12.1, so I can still run pump gas(94 oct). Ive been told if I go any higher compression, pump gas might not be enough.

225 no sorry to burst bubble. low 200's more like. 250 you would have to pretty much go to a race motor, like a crv motor from importbuilders. STock exhaust will not cut it , its majorly restrictive for the big breathing items you will put on. Why you put a cork in your engines breathing ability?? With a nice exhaust system from SMS for example (header carsound cat and 2.5 mandrel bent system with magnaflow, gains of 20hp are expected.

Don't be so concerned with hp numbers, you want to be looking at your torque. Who cares if a car makes 225 if it only makes 135 tq. Are you feeling me on that one?

o yea the victor x manifold is pretty much for race motors. You'll probably lose low to midrange, and then make it up on the top end. not worth it for a street car..stick with what you got or go with a skunk2 manifold. stock manifold should be fine, maybe polish the runners and get it port matched to the head.

Go with JUN springs
Injectors will be big, but you can tune it out with the hondata.
You might want a fuel pump
Ditch the cat for straight pipe
You need something better than stock exhaust
Spoon header will hold you back on power

Other than that
