A6 bottom with Z6 head and a Y8 head gasket is it safe with boost???

Default A6 bottom with Z6 head and a Y8 head gasket is it safe with boost???

I have arp head studs I'm just worried about the compression with boost.Should I use a different gasket or am I safe???? Thanks

That will put you somewhere between 9-9.5:1 compression. How much boost are you running?

I'll be running 8 psi......or I'd like to run 8psi.Should I go with a thicker gasket???

depends on your setup, what are you using for control?
are using standard 75 mm pistons
std bore already?
is the head shaved or trimmed?
when you rebuild a head they shave a couple thousanths off to true it.

changes your cr besides the headgasket

what size turbo? what trim?

this thread will go in circles if you don't specify your setup fully
