For years I have made fun of the BMW yuppies. I am one of them now. I took a Boxer Cup 1100s out for a test ride and bought it dead on the spot as soon as I got back. I have owned GSXR's (01 600, 05 750) CBR's (97 600, 98 900) and a Triumph Daytona (01 595). I have ridden a plethra of different bikes as well.

In the straight aways it is kindda lacking, but in the turns OMFG. I can do on that bike the same as the 750 but its SMOOTH. I mean ******* smoooooooth.

Very happy with it so far.

my dad is trying to convert me to be a bmw yuppie. i just cant get into there styling. i do like the k1200s though

My older brother is dead set on the K1200R Sport. It's a really nice bike and the 3/36000 warranty isn't bad either.

I love BMW's bikes.

 

I'm thinking about a BMW too. They seem like they are more "grownups" bikes. + you can't ride a sportbike to it's full potential on public roads without getting busted sooner or later.

They arent saddlebags anymore when you own a BMW, they're "panniers".

 

Everyone I know that rides a BMW is "eccentric" in their own special way.

Yep, I love it. I don't care that it dosen't look the coolest. I went up on the mountain today. I owned so many kids lol. Some little **** called me grandpa. I passed him in the first sweeper.
