Default Work wheels (Emotion Cr Kai)

So I'm lookin at getting these wheels in 17x7:

(bronze Work Emotion Cr Kai)

But if you look kinda closely you can see all the blue writing on the rims, which I don't want since I'm going for a black & red theme overall and will probably be going with the red lugs. So does anyone know if that shyte is already on the wheel or how easy it might be to remove (i.e. are they just decals)?

My other question is do you think I'll be able to pull of 225/45/17 tires on these wheels with the hfp susp. drop and w/o rubbing?

I've searched and couldn't find an answer on that yet.

Any input will be appreciated, thnx

I cant imagine that you'll have any rubbing issues... especially with the HFP susp.

My works(XD9's) came with stickers on them.... they are removable but it may be kind of a PITA... but then again the cr kai may come with painted on decals for all I know..?

They are stickers.

and with 17x7 you should keep the OEM size rubber 225 will be too "puffy"

yeah, the XD9's were my second choice, but you've already got 'em and I think the XT7's look too much like the hfp wheels

ok, makes sense, but what about on 17x7.5 or 8? I think a lot of tire looks cooler, not to mention some more ride comfortability

They do NOT come with them on. I had them on my EP3 and they came without them on.

You can get the sticker in red if you like though. I personally think the stickers look awesome on the wheel.

If I could get the stickers in red, that could be sweet. I like the look of them, but the blue just wouldn't go with what I'm tryin to do

its more personal preference for an 8" width i'd run 225/45
up to 7.5 i would run oem spec..

You can get the stickers in blue or red, it's your choice (i dont know if you get that choice upon ordering or not, but your not limited to JUST BLUE thats for sure.

also... start researching on tirerack.com (i believe they show it, maybe it's discounttire.com) but shows what tire size fits what width of a rim... it's about proper fitment, not stretching or as Mike eloquently put it, puffy.

i.e. 6.5" = 205; 7" = 215; 7.5" = 225 etc..

^^wow, thanks. They look good, but I bet they'd look better on a NBP FG2.

I went to discounttire.com and I think I decided to go with 215/50/17. That should give me the look I'm goin for. 50 profile won't give me any rubbing issues with the hfp drop, would it?

As for the stickers, I think I'm going to leave them off... Idk, I like the look, but I think it would be better without them... at least for me/my car. But if I can choose the red stickers when I buy them, I will... just in case I ever change my mind

I went with the Bronze Work Emotion Cr Kai in 17 x 8.0 with a +47 offset. I used the Falken Azenis RT-615 in 225/45R-17.
