I just put an Optima Yellow Top in my CRX and the 70A battery fuse keeps blowing, (3) times now. It blew the first time hooking up the battery. We changed it out and as soon as the screw touched it it blew again. Thinking it might have been the order we screwed the fuse down, we tried again battery side first, when the screw touched the fuse box side again it blew. Any one else have this problem??? Solutions???
there have been some circumstances where the terminals on the battery have been mismarked, this happened to 2 people I know using Optimas.
I'd recommend using a Multimeter to confirm the batterys' true polarity.

Believe it or not, its a common prob with domestic & import batteries, I'm kinda curious as to why this problem is recurring as well.
Personally, I believe they don't give a ****.
Need to report them to the US DOT & to your local states attorney. If there are enough complaints they will be forced to make changes.
