Bad Tie Rod, Or a Bad Ball Baring? I Can't figure it out :(
I just bought this new car, and the great thing is, is that it is still under warrenty. Anyways, I just wanted to hear it from you guys; which of these would it be. When ever I turn right, i hear a deep clunk noise, and when i turn the wheel back to straighten the tires out, I hear the clunking noise again and it does not do it when I go onto the curb to get into the drive way (unless im turning right) So i know it isn't a spring related issue and it doesn't make the noise when i turn left either. If anyone has any suggestions of what it may be, please let me know.
Clunking or clicking? Ummmmmm, this is a suggestion(may not be right) Check your CV boot if theres a crack in it. I think it may be the CV. or drive shaft.
Im not sure, it sounds more like a clunking noise. It may be a clicking noise, but it's real deep. And loud too heh. I don't think it may be the drive shaft.. but who knows. I'm not the best of any mechanic lol.
Dang, I hope not. You'd think if it was a ball-baring it would happen whether you turned left, or right. I think you may be right. Do you know the cost it may take to fix it?
i had a 98 accord that had a bad cv joint, but it was a repetitive clicking when turning right. if your wheel bearing was bad i think you would know it. i would pull the wheel and do some poking around.

If it's under warranty, why don't you take it to Honda and let them tell you what's wrong with it, and then fix it for free?
Sounds like a bad CV joint or driveaxle to me.
