what i 'would say is somthing in the system maybe resistance in the wires going from battery to starter.... double check all of you grounds kive never heard of sumthing like that where it wasnt either the battery or an electrical issue of the sort

whack the starter with something.
it sounds like your starter is shot, even though you didnt mess with it..... it could happen.

Something like this happened to me before, and it ended up being that one of the the wires that was connected to my starter came out when I was working on the car.... And once it was plugged back in, it started up fine. Just another idea...

Bad ground, dead starter, not enough juice in the battery.

Those are the only things that prevent a starter from turning over if you hear that click.

we checked battery, battery terminals are all new, grounds are all perfect, took the starter out to autozone and they tested it and said it was perfect - but im still gonna go to junkyard and get a diff one to try it..... and our main relay is fine- its priming and fuel is deff gettin to rail... so as far as people saying about the starter relay or fuse i have no clue where that is located so if anyone has any info let me know thanks

Replace the starter with a known working on. Rule it out. Then check the ground (with a multimeter) between the starter and the chassis.

To rule out anything mechanical with the engine (and I can guarantee it's not that) just bum start the car.

you check how much voltage is actually getting to the starter?

is its getting low voltage, trace it back, I believe is the thinker black wire with the white stripe

dont test power with a test light

you need to get a multi-meter bc a test light iwll tell you your getting power but not tell you how much power is going to the starter

you need atleast 10.5-11v to start a car

Unplug the connector from your neutral safety switch and loop the connector with wire and see if it starts
