Default Engine Wiring Harness Jumper

I needed a new ECU for my car. I ordered a chipped P06 but I want to put the ECU in my 99 Honda civic but the plugins are not the same. I'm thinking the P06's are OBD 1 or something and the harness I have on my car is OBD 2 but am not 100% on this. Would love to know for sure before I order a harness and find out that I can't use it.

You need an OBD II B to OBD I harness, I have a 99ex and a converted p06 so i should be right.

Talk about timing...I've got the same problem. I'm thinking you might be wrong...but I'm not 100% sure. Let's help each other out and search so we don't waste our money. Post up some links if you find something and I'll do the same.

So you are telling me that 99 hondas are not OBD II b and a p06 is not an OBD I ecu? Maybe you should search because i know these to be fact...so assuming he does not have an engine swap then i would be correct.

I'm not 'telling' you anything. I didn't reply to you...my reply just happens to be under yours.

For anyone else a little slow upstairs, that was called "sarcasm". Note my link to the search link already provided on every page of this forum.

But wait I do have an engine swap converted to a b18b1 with vtec. I guess I just figured that they would have used the original obd2 that came in the later model of the car. I'll post some pics of the harness thats on the car soon so that maybe a little visual will help.
