I would like to rattle spray my crossmember, steering rack, and front and rear (trailing arms too) suspension. I will finish cleaning all the parts shortly and ready to prep.
Looking to put some gloss black on all the parts. What paint do you guys recommend? Also need some tips with the prepping.
Here are some pics of the items to be painted:

Thanks for any help!!
BTW > I will post detailed pics once I complete the painting process so this thread can be turned into a "How-To"

I say just clean it all really good and scuff the original parts....then paint it with a rustoleum rattle can.....I actually painted my engine bay and crossmember with brite touch and it turned out pretty good, but I would imagine rustoleum be better anyway since its made to handle weather and prevent rust.
degrease it, wipe any excess dirt/grime off with a rag and paint it.
I need to start doing this with my LS1 Blazer project....

First off,
to you and your awesome rebuild. For the paint, what they said and any wheel or engine paint should be good, those seem to be tougher than normal, crappy spray paint. Btw, have you decided on a color for the hatch yet?

Use the ajax and a maroon scotch brite, scrub everything down and be sure to sand all of it. Let it dry and wipe it off with rubbing alcohol. Use a tack rag to get any lint/dust off, then paint it. Good Luck and nice build.
