Default over heating help asap please

i just swapped a d16 with another d16 and my car runs for about 5-10 mins and its almost red line over heating, and yes thewre is coolant in the car and i just changed the thermostat and my fan is running , i even put my fan on a switch and had it run straight for 20 mins and the car still over heats. my guess would be the water pump right ???

run the car start feeling hoses. You'll feel at least one that is alot cooler then the rest. Kill the engine, let it cool completly and remove that hose. There will either be a clog in that hose or a clog in where the hose is connected to.
