TB upgrades, anyone have one installed?
Without going ITB,(one day) are any of the TB offered by Spoon, Science of Speed, Skunk2, worth the investment? I understand your supporting mods are going to be a deciding factor in the seat of the pants dyno results. I was just wondering if anyone had put any of the above companies TB on and noticed healthy mid-range increases. They seem to help almost all other autos, but what about for our S2000s?
Thanks, Keith

After months of research (okay, maybe just 1-2) and found that it's not worth the money unless you're going FI. Just my 2 cents and many other that have gone down the path and even back with their S.
I've also studied many track cars (CarBoy & Options mags) and most of them don't run an aftermarket TB going NA.

Gains can come from running the bigger throttle body bore. As with other small mods like this though, you will see more based on what other things you have done. Not just forced induction, it can very surely provide gains if you're staying n/a.
I've considered that as well, not worth the money for just "throttle response." To each it's own. I would recommend skimming through S2KI forums and read/ask those hardcord trackers and make your own conclusions...
I guess Mugen got it wrong again...
