changed dx to si dizzy now no start???

Default changed dx to si dizzy now no start???

i depinned the wires on the si plug and put the dx plugs on the si dizzy and now i have no start...it is still dpfi so is that y or should it still start with the si dizzy even though its dpfi???

u need ur dx dizzy the si is ment for mpfi and it gives out more pulses or something

why would you put a si distributor on a dpfi engine?did the dx one crap out? if so iv tried the same thing and it wont work without the mpfi swap

yea man, the Si wont work on the DX. Trade it for another DX or something. I'm sure someone will want it.

i dont know, i dont think so. most mpfi write ups has all this info for you though.

obd0 pr4 will,yes..You already have the si distributor now do the mpfi conversion wiring and be done with it

already did most of the mpfi conversion just need to wire up the resistor box and hopefully itll start right up no problems....thnx for all the info guys much appreciated

make sure all the connections on the ecu are nice and tight. I had a problem for over 2 months with the MPFI swap, turned out to be loose connections with the wires coming into the ecu and the ecu pins

glad to hear im not the only one that this happened to. mine was only a month though.
