would it be ok to use a 1.5 lsi gearbox on a 1.6 dohc vtech engine

 

if you could spell VTEC right and search you could have an answer

and if the LSi is not a b-series motor, then no...you could use and b-series hydro trans

 

it is b series, what that gearbox fit that engine

 

is it a hydro trans or a cable? and is your chassis ment for cable or hydro?

 

and I have never heard of a 1.5 DOHC motor from honda, its probly a d-series

LSi is SOHC 1.5.

I think he was trying to say that the dohc vtec motor was a b-series.

 

dohc vtec are b series in which case do you have cable or hydro (what chassis is engine being swapped into?) only b- series trans will fit b series engines. so 92-95 jdm sir, 94-97 delsol vtec or 99-00 civic si or integra anything will bolt up.
