Help Diagnose my CLUTCH problems ...... please???
About a month ago while I was driving to work, I noticed shifting into any gear was alittle tough (with clutch fully depressed). This problem got worse later on that day as I was coming home. It got to the point where I could't get into any gear. The only way I was able to downshift was to wait for the rpms to drop and slide into the gear. It was as if I was driving without a clutch. At a stoplight, I couldn't get the car into any gear. I had to shut the car off, put it in 1st, then start it to drive. The car has been sitting in the garage since.
The clutch pedal still had its spring, but it felt alittle softer as if it wasn't moving the shift fork. I assumed it was the pressure plate so the past few weeks I've been shopping around for flywheel/clutch combos.
Then I came across a thread where someone had the same problems as I did. His resolution was to change the Clutch Master Cylinder and Slave.
Went ahead and bought both of these. The Master has some oil on the main shaft but the fluid level looked fine. I didn't change the slave because it looked fine. No brakefluid anywhere and it was super clean. Plus the replacement slave didn't fit.
I changed the Master cylinder and bled the system. I felt the clutch actuator moving the shift fork ..... all seemed good.
I started the car then tried to shift .... NOTHING. Same problems. I adjusted the clutch pedal in both directions ..... that did squat!!
WTF is wrong with it?? Can it be the pressure plate? The car made no sounds, no crunching, squeaking, rattling, vibrations before this happened. And it still makes no sound.
Any suggestions? Guys?

have you change your MTL fluid...do that first
http://hazone.com/default.htm?howto/btrannyoil.htm
next check the bushings/nuts and bolts on the shift linkage

My itr is doing the same thing mannnnn!! but my buddy said it's the clutch. i recently took it into acura and they even said it was my clutch, so now i'm shopping around.
advice, a buddy of mines said a bolt on your flywheel may be loose,
hafta go to class now but will update soon

The spring seats on the stock pressure plate always break or loosen. Mine did the same thing only gradually. Time for an Exedy organic
Your pressure plate springs broke apart. Its good to replace the master and slave but if the springs inside the pressure plate get worn out, you have no choice but to drop the tranny. Let me know if you are ready for the clutch install.
