I have a 91 si with a d16a6 it has the normal bolt ons i/h/e and a stage 2 clutch with a lightened flywheel. My question is that every time i am driving when i put my foot on the clutch the idle drops real low then comes back up and i am wondering if it cause of the flywheel. Any help if you guys have had this happen or might know what it might be. You help is greatly appreciated.

 

The Flywheel wouldn't be doing that.

How low are we talking do you toss any codes?

 

Some where around 400- 500 as far as the codes none that i know of but i will go check.

 

No i have no codes but now that i put my test pipe in the idle will just surge and thats it. I dont know whats going on here help me out please.

 

Sounds like something (a hose) at the map sensor, or the evac. i have the same problem. still working on it.
Post a pic of the vacum lines from the map to the IM.
