Default New bike...Not a Honda...

Hey guys...Just picked up a new bike...you guys are gonna love this one!! Pic is from the original owner Hence the photostamped date

Don't worry...I still have the trusty CBR929RR...This thing is a blast to ride and it is a lot easier on my Nuts! Just gonna strip off all that leather crap and lower it and I have a perfect cruiser to use on those long rides with my Dad...who by the way took a ride on the 929 and will never get on it again...He said he will stick to his Harley! LOL! The throttle gave him a good scare!!

Harley is definately not the best of the crusier world. In fact, they sell garbage.

I'm also bitter that the speedo and subsequently the odo on my made in america bike decided to stop working for no reason at all. yay harley!

Sorry you feel that way...that sucks...My Pops bike just turned 25k with no issues...another buddy of mine is almost at 40k with no issues. Of course these are adult owned bikes and are meticulously maintained. I guess with most things...when maintained they last longer....but, not the case for you...What bike do you have??

2003 buell lightning xb9s. It has been very well maintained, the original owner provided me with all the service records and I've taken care of it as long as I've owned it. I'm also a chicken so I don't stunt it, I guess it's just one of those bullshit problems.

Samething happened with my brothers, right after he turned 7500 miles, it was one stupid thing after another, after another. My odometer stopped at 7777, go figure

It's damn disappointing. 7777 miles and the tach and spedo stop working? Made in America with pride, indeed.

At least stuff isn't literally falling off of yours, like it did with older Buells.

Yeah I guess you're right. That counts for something. It's just really frustrating, that's all.

Don't get me wrong, I would be frustrated too. It would be nice if they could solve ALL of their quality control issues. Its a little embarrassing when bikes made in Korea are more reliable than bikes made in America

Waiting for Apoc to chip in here. I hear you, though. I just bought a cruiser-type bike today myself...V Star. Keeping the 600rr and gearing up for more track days with it and having the V Star to take weekend road trips or for slower commutes to work...best of both worlds Now it's time to work on the jet skis and dirt bikes. BEST TIME OF THE YEAR IS NOW

That is exactly what I am doing...got it for my slower commutes and for the weekend runs. Its way more comfortable than the 929 but, I will not get rid of it...I love having both!!
