Default No start

Just finished up my engine re-build and went to crank it up and theirs nothing. The fuel pump wont turn on and the starter wont engage to turn the motor over. I have checked every fuse and tripple checked all of the connections. i went to hook up a scan tool and it says "link error". I had a built motor in there before. I took my motor out to fix a leaking head gasket and did some more upgrades to the bottom end. And i also painted the engine bay and had some brackets powder coated. Thats all I did different this time. I went to check for fuel leaks and thats when i discovered the communication problems with the car. Its acting like the computer is not pluged in and when i try to start it the radiator fan comes on. Any advise or help would be greatly appericaited. Thanks

check for power and ground at the ecu. main relay could cause this but cheaper to check grounds. the one on the t-stat housing is what stopped my car from running this weekend after I re-installed my engine.

Yea i got it running. I forgot to put the ground wire from the frame rail to the trans. One little wire and it wont start. I had a fresh set of eyes look at it for me. But now that its running it has no power. I hit the gas and its slower than a single cam non VTEC in a heavy *** car. Im thinking that i need to check the timing again or something. Thanks for the help
