Default Lambo doors?

Does anyone have lambo doors on their Prelude?
And if so did you have to roll your inner fenders?
I don't see why you would have to because it does not seem like the hinge kits would reach that far into your fender.

For one thing, Lamborghini doors wouldn't fit on the Prelude. Most Lamborghinis have relatively long doors, and they're a completely different shape from those on the Prelude.

I have some on my 4th gen. Yes you need to roll the fenders, and no it doesn't just 'bolt on'. Save yourself a lot of money and problems and do something else. This is by far the one and only mod I've ever regretted doing.

My words of advice. Don't do it.

That is all.

Have a nice day.

umm he's not talking about actual Lamo doors, just the kit that converts the prelude doors to open like the lambos do. and yes Impulsive is right.

What if a Lamborghini has regular doors ? Would that be considered rice ?? Too many people are just hatin' these days. A 'lude with lambo door kit would look ok, but in order to pull it off - you would have to have a $5000 custom piant job, wide body ( or at least the fender areas ), and 19" wheels with a 4" deep dish, OEM bumpers, and lowered 3.5" on coilovers. This would be nice for a show only 'lude. I'm just picturing a 4th gen with JDM black housings and amber JDM fogs to go with it. Lambo doors, if done correctly with attension to other mods as well, could look Nice on a show car. But not all of us can afford $15000 on custom body pieces and paint. So just stick with the OEM doors you have and stop trying to Pimp My Ride with your 'lude !!

Stick with OEM, like my car ? >>>

Ok, to all of you that are complete idiots, lambo doors are not "doors off a lamborghini" if I could afford to buy the actual doors off a lamborghini do you think that I would be on hondatech? probably not. I am thinking about buying the scissor door conversion kit aka lambo door kit. I have a 5th gen lude and I want to talk to someone else with a 5th gen that has already done the mod. Please do not reply if you have not already completed this mod.

Lamborghini doors are distinctive to Lamborghinis, so yes, we are 'hatin' for the right reasons, just as we would 'hate' on a lude with Lambo doors, M3 Fenders, Skyline bumper, and Lancer spoiler.

19" rims, $5000 custom paint job, wide body, thats all rice too. The lambo doors would just be the cherry ontop.

On a side note, love the way your prelude looks, especially the color.

Yeah, not many show car people here on honda-tech (this is mostly a tech/performance site). Go to CarDomain.com or something like that if you want to learn about rice.

Lambo doors are not good for you car (structurally). Reason being when they are opened it puts way to much stress on the A-pillar.

They definately won't fit on the 5th gen. The doors are too short. Look at how the lamborghini's doors look. Long and short. Nothing like the 5th gen's doors.

You're such a moron.

I don't know, the length is probably pretty good, too bad they're too short.
