The Moroso 20910 oilpan is leaking , the Honda dealer have tried everything but its still leaking.See picture below>>
They have tryed for 3 times , also with special liquid gasket thet they use for the Honda CRV but is doesn't work. And every time they change the OEM gasket for a new one , thats cost me now 3 gaskets and a lot of oil.....
Who have the same problems with this oilpan???
And do you have it also on the gearbox side??
Please let it know to me , because i must send the oilpan back from the Netherlands to the USA and i would like to know or somebody else have the same problems.
*Yellow arrow , there is it leaking , every time also with special liquid gasket.
*Red arrow , perhaps it comes by these little holes??
*Blue arrow , there is something there that doesn't belong there.
Picture is when the oilpan is new, not used ;

Who can help me?Thanks a lot!!

i would hope his Honda Dealer would have diagnosed if they have had the car three times troubleshooting the issue.

Every thing that the Honda dealer is doing , is because i'm saying it.
The problems start with the Moroso pan , and the engine is complete dry.
The 3rd time , they have checked the pan for warping and exactly on the place at the Yellow circle is a little warped and on that place they using that special Honda liquid gasket (You called it as Honda bond).
But its still leaking ,i believe the Morosopan is to heavy warped to fill it with the Honda bond.
But i read somone is using silicone gasket , is this a better gasket than the OEM one .????
Because of this>>

They squish the seal out of form and makes it leak. Solution....... I used a Felpro Gasket and it sealed perfectly. The seem to me made of silicone not rubber and do not loose their shape as easily as the OEM units</TD></TR></TABLE>

wrong end of the engine....
wrong end of the engine....
I was caught out when replacing my oil pan gasket... when I removed the original gasket it left two little washer-type rings stuck to the pan... in the location you have pointed to..
They were stuck on there so hard I thought they were just part of the pan... turns out they had ripped out of the old gasket. So when I put the new gasket on, I had doubled up on those little washer things, because they aren't visible on the new gasket. I had a pretty major oil leak from the region you have shown... easily fixed once we figured why though!
I don't think that would be your problem, being a new pan and all... but thought i'd share my mistake anyway

Those arrows point to the passenger side of the engine?
1) If it is still leaking, there are 2 tiny washers that space out your oil pan there. The washers go the studs off of your main seal cover. I mean these things are TINY. If you are missing them, get em.
2) If it is still leaking, are you sure its not coming from the main seal? Take transmission off and diagnose. Also, on top of the main seal plate/cover, there a 17mm ALLEN head bolt that needs to be tightened. Mine was tight however I put Hondabond all around the threads and fixed the problem.

I replace the OEM one for a while , because the old Moroso one i must send back and i get a new one under garanty.
I like these oilpan a lot because this one have more trapdoors and more baffled zones and a oilpan kickout for more oil capacity.
But if this new oilpan also is lekaing , I order a Mugen one.

Obviously, bottom line is you got a f***** pan... you should have returned that thing first sign of problems... returning a defective product is an option you know... Good luck. I'm sure not all of the moroso pans have this issue. Probably damaged during shipping.

This is the newer steel version.....the new one is on his way , it takes 2 or 3 weeks to get here....and i ordered a Felpro (silicone like) gasket ...
Well, you definitely have a warped pan. When you return it, you should just get the aluminum Moroso pan, it has a thick machined flange that won't warp.
The people you bought it from should be happy to upgrade your pan to compensate you for your troubles.
