I was reading on NHRA page where he switched out his brand new motor for the motor they ran in Moroso after the 1st day of qualifying. I guess the new motor just didn't cut it. He said they skipped the last round of qualifying to swap it out. I wonder what was up w/ it??

 

BLK JDM:

After Moroso, Kenny and the crew decided to put in a new motor in the TC. After making some passes in qualifying the motor was not responding to what they wanted. Sat night, they stayed at the track to put the motor they ran at Moroso in.

Kenny and the crew will tear apart the other motor to see what's going on.

Guess it didn't matter. I was informed it was the motor, oh well.

 

Thanks the concern regarding our racing program but it is a combination of things that make a racecar go down the track. In order for any team to advance and there are things that have to be tried whether it be clutch or motor or whatever it maybe. Sometimes it doesn't workout. Hence we went back to what works. But that is what racing is all about! Or shall I say that is the beauty of racing.

At the end of the day it's what happens at the line that really counts right?

Let's just do more racing. God knows that we need more Hotrods racers in the class.
