Default converting auto to manual?

my co-worker has an ef sedan, she has been bitching lately about her tranny slipping and wanting a new car.
i asked her what she would do with the car and she said since the tranny is no good she assumes it will just go to a junk yard... so i figure i could just buy it off of her for pretty cheap.

i beleave its an lx?

anyway, i have an 88 crx si, is it possible to put the crx si tranny into the manual sedan?

looking at that list of parts needed it seems as if all parts i will need are right here in my yard.

the car has been sitting for probably around half a year now with no hood, but i assume/hope the tranny is fine since its still sealed and what not...

so if i can get this sedan for say around 250$ since she was just planning on trashing it and she is a good friend, and a couple days to do the work, deffinately seems like it would be worth it to have another ef

wont be as quick as my crx, but it wont be half bad with an mpfi swap i have in my basement also

No, PM6 is what you'd want to use.

yup, i don't think she will be getting rid of the car any time soon though, although she is getting really annoyed by it and she thinks that her parents owe her money to get a new car... ill mention something too her at work today and maybe it will motivate her a little bit to find something else...

i need to get the car from her before she caulcks the rear windows shut... lol... she has been complaining that the rear windows keep falling down and she was going to caulck them closed... there has got to be a better way though... and i sure don't want rear windows caulcked shut...
