say a little prayer
i do not have the riders name but i'll share the story... please keep this man in your thoughts and prayers. and we know how h-t feels about riding on the streets so be please curtious with the obvious rants.
this morning i went out ortega by myself to get a few passes in. i met up with a few riders at the end like usual and started warming up a bit. i decided to start following a group of 6 or 7 guys with slicks/semi's for a couple runs. last run going up the backside a guy lowsided on a 270 right turn and slid across into the gaurdrail along with his bike at roughly 80-85mph. his bike broke into several pieces and layed there. when i got to him, he was bent with his stomach around a supporting post while his torso was pinned under the gaurdrail. all didnt look too bad until the medics cut open his leathers. it appeared that his right femur was broke along with possibly his pelvis, and then from his thigh across his stomach was completely split open. he was still breathing when i left.

Keep us posted.
This is why I don't ride down there.
A couple of months ago, a guy I know crashed down in Palomar and was lucky to have survived. I went to go watch the Fastrack guys @ CSS this morning and that looks way more fun and safe than Ortega, Palomar, ACH, etc.
