ZC cam gears = B16 cam gears?

Default ZC cam gears = B16 cam gears?

I read on another site that ZC cam gears where exchangable with B16 Cam gears.
true or false?

I need some for a zc motor so if u have the Zc or b16(if they fit) Ill buy

jg makes gears made for the zc so does jun but there not cheap.

BTW Guys, he is talking about CAM GEARS not CAMS. The B16 CAM GEARS will work but the timing marks will not line up properly.

whats the difference between b16 cam gears and aftermarket zc cam gears?

i would assume that just bolting them on your ZC... i mean... that should be it. take the other gear off, put this one on and then set timing.

whats the difference between b16 cam gears and aftermarket zc cam gears?</TD></TR></TABLE>the B-Series gears timing mark locations are different from the DOHC ZC - the B-Series gears have a diffferent offset from the DOHC ZC (the gears when bolted to the cams project out farther toward the driver's side) - you can use the B-Series gears (we do) - the timing mark between the gears on the intake cam is in the correct location on the B-series gear - the timing mark between the gears on the exhaust cam is off by one tooth - you need to add a new mark on the gear for the intake cam in order to set the timing, like this:



with the B-series gears installed, the timing belt will run on the inside edge of the gears like this:

Did you use the same timing chain. Cause i spoke to the parts person and he says theirs two belts I can use either the 125 tooth or 129 tooth.
